These are example of the revamped Restoration Shop labels that I created for the automotive paint line. I started by creating a template for the various mid-coat, clear coat and basecoat labels, allowing me to switch out technical data and specific information without creating separate files for every label. I laid out the vector based lines in Adobe Illustrator and they were filled in with CMYK colors. I edited the copy and technical data for the labels in conjunction with the pictograms that were taken from stock artwork. Then I added more specific information such as the HMIS Color Bar in both Spanish and English. I finished the labels by outputting each one separately as a PDF with its given name.
